If you are generous and leave them a coin in their cup they would reward you with good luck and fortune and for those that are bad and greedy they would get more misfortune and extreme bad luck. These creatures have a thirst and hunger for anything from this mortal world as they were usually poor people in life that were mistreated and sometimes not even recieved a proper burial so they would come back to get justice and revenge and have the thirst to get the things they wanted. If you were unlucky enough to see under their shaw or cloak they had rotting flesh and skin falling off the bones and were seen as death personified. These beings as companions are similar in that if you adopt them and give them offerings when you can of small coins they will reward you with good luck and fortune. Then anyone that is your enemy or seeks you harm they will go after with a vengeance as they see these people as worthy of their wrath as they remind them of the thoughtless people when they were alive.
