This creature nests in the tops of frankincense trees which it guards like its property as it is attracted by the spicy fragrance(so you know what it would like as offerings and as a attractant) When it feels threatened by human,spirit or animal presence it straightens out its body and flies or falls backward from its nesting tree to stab the aggressor with its sharp barbed tail. This creature has been feared for centuries by spice hunters as it has been linked to a lot of spice hunter deaths throughout history. As spirits Amphiptere are a lot more laid back as they don't have the need to protect themselves and they will however protect you if they feel you are they are in danger and are fearless, They are What i would consider a medium level Dark Arts creature. They have and want to teach their new keepers the art of battle and how to use leverage as a technique to win fights and battles in their life, Whether it be physical leverage or Psychological they beasts desire to teach their keepers how to be fearless in every situation of their lives.
